Have a new hire?
Make sure the employee fills out the System Entry form and brings it with them, along with a letter from your agency stating they are applying to your department. First Responders do not have to take a system entrance exam, but they do need to complete the System Entry form. The new hire also needs to bring a current CPR card and EMT license when they come to take the system entrance exam. The new hire cannot function within the MCAEMS System until they have been approved by the EMS Director.
The written test can be taken anytime during the hours of 8:30a.m. - 4:30p.m., Monday through Friday. Please see information here regarding passing the written and practical exam portion of system entry.
All practical skills must be scheduled with our Education Coordinator, Michael Crabtree.
